I bought this scale in December 2008, and have fussed with it over the past 18 months (no, I don't use it much) because sometimes it turns on and sometimes it does not. My final solution was to remove the batteries and unplug the power adapter cord when not using it. Otherwise (leaving it plugged in) it will not come on unless you unplug it for about 5 minutes.

I have a scale after two months, shipping my dried fruit when my backyard to my friends. Then the fruit season is over, several months later it weighed the scale. Not working!! I have a new replaced batteries, and even the electrical outlet attached. Not working !!
I need a refund, when expired.
This a "Ponzi" device, when the "investors" can give an early checks, and they checks have "expired."
I should have a rate "one star", should have a "zero star."

I have been using this scale for 2 months and it has given me some problems. I used 8 x 10 envelopes for shipping and the envelopes will not stay still when i use the envelope holder on this scale. The envelope just falls down every time i try to weigh it. Another problem is that when i put the envelope flat it covers the digital screen where it tells you the weight. Their are way better scales out their for the price and i'm very disappointed in this one. The only good thing about this scale is that it is accurate on weight. Lastly it took 1 month to receive this scale and i have no idea why so just be aware!
